Mobile Wallets are LIVE- Apple, Google & Samsung Pay

What is a mobile wallet?

Carry your favorite cards on your devices so you can pay in-person, in-app or online. A digital wallet is a system that securely stores users' payment information and passwords for numerous payment methods and websites. By using a digital wallet, users can complete purchases easily and quickly with near-field communications technology. They can also create stronger passwords without worrying about whether they will be able to remember them later.

How do you use Apple Pay?

  1. To use your default card, double-click the side button, then glance at your iPhone to authenticate with Face ID, or enter your passcode.
  2. Hold the top of your iPhone within a few centimeters of the contactless reader until you see Done and a checkmark on the display.

How do you use Samsung Pay?

Make a payment using the app.  When you're ready to pay, open Samsung Pay on your phone. Tap Pay, and select your preferred card. Tap PIN or IRIS, and then enter the required security information. Or if you have fingerprint security set up, simply place your finger on your phone's fingerprint scanner

How do you set up and use Google Pay?

  1. Download the app on Google Play or the App Store, or visit
  2. Sign in to your Google Account and add a payment method.
  3. If you want to use Google Pay in stores, check to see if your phone has NFC.

Say goodbye to high rate credit cards with EFCU! For a limited time, you can transfer the balances from your higher interest credit cards to an Evansville Federal Credit Union Visa Platinum Card and receive 7.9% Annual Percentage Rate for 12 months from the posting date of the transfer!*

You could save yourself hundreds of dollars over time when you switch to an EFCU Platinum Visa® Credit Card. Plus, we don't charge any balance transfer fees.

*Transfers available to EFCU Platinum Visa Cards only. Transfers post as a cash advance. If payment is received late once during the promotional period, the rate will revert to the prevailing cash advance APR. As of April 2008, the cash advance APR for EFCU Platinum Visa credit cards is 9.9%. Existing EFCU balances are excluded from receiving this promotion. Payments and credits will be applied to the promotional balance first. Continue to make the minimum payment on any bills you receive during the transfer processing period in order to avoid past-due notices and charges.

There is a special protection feature on EFCU's Visa® Credit Cards. FALCON is a fraud detection system that checks every authorization made on your card for the possibility that fraudulent activity may be taking place. If it recognizes possible fraud, it will call the phone number associated with your EFCU Visa® Credit Card, up to four times in 48 hours to determine the validity of the transaction. If you cannot be reached, it may freeze your card to protect you from possible fraud.

It is important that we have the most current information on file, so please alert us if your phone number has changed. Also, if you plan to travel, you may want to let us know so that we can recognize out of state transactions as vacation purchases. Please call 812-424-2621, option 5 if you have any questions about our Visa® Credit Card protection feature.
